ImageHey everybody, i know we havn't had a show for a while.  I've been spending the last few weeks setting up some new equipment and trying to get it working correctly.  It's been a LOT of troubleshooting (nothing with computers seems to work as it should >_<).  While we're working out the bugs though, here is the first of two episodes for week 72 (last week) and we will still have a show recorded for this week, though that will be delayed as well simply due to catch up (i'm also starting a new job this week which is cutting into my time for the show).  So you will not miss any week's worth of shows and will in fact get two for last week.  Thanks for your patience, and read on for more info on this show. 
 
 
This is a first for ToH: An Annihilate game.  Some Relic staff take on the editors of 1up.com in a friendly game with commentary co-hosted by one of the players (Shawn Eliot, formerly editor of Games for Windows Magazine and co-host of GFW Radio podcast).  It's pretty crazy with so much artillery that my computer can't even keep up with it at times!  Be sure to check out who wins this one.

Apologies guys for how long the shows are taking. We're having a serious lot of tech problems. We actually finished 73 a great game on Ango from Bentguru that turned out to be fucked up. The audio and video skip throughout so its not going to be posted. This was worth the wait. Great to see this Relic vs GFW game with Shawn Elliott on the commentary. Would be interesting to have him on the audio show as he's always got some funny anecdotes about his gameplay and tactics.

I hear "AAGH MAN DOWN" and "they gave their lives for the fatherland" or whatever and you're just looking for a mortar or something that you can't find. I know on the large maps it's hard but look down at the minimap sometimes and try to find the fights.

you did actually do a annihilation game before in a 4vs4, cant remember the number, but it was the week where you did custom maps as well as a video cast!

BTW Bridger I'm curious, what's the new job? I remember you saying that you worked as a store clerk back in teh old ToH days? smilies/smiley.gif

I am new to this podcast and was wondering if the iTunes feed of the video and audio casts for ToH are not up to date with the current episodes? iTunes only downloaded episode 70 when I subscribed.

Great podcast for a great RTS.
