We've been adding all kinds of great features to Gamefire these last few weeks! We've refined the layout, added in polls, and of course, debuted our brand new OnDemand Media System! Read on for more info on what you can do here. We've also got a lot of updates for the Tales of Heroes audience. Downloads have been added, and podcasts are now up and running. OnDemand Media SystemThis new system is currently in beta as we work out all the bugs. Please post feedback on the Gamefire forums if you run into problems or have suggestions. This new system allows you to do many things, amongst which are:
Speak Up! Interact With GamefireIf you're Registered on the site, you can provide feedback to each show with our comment system. Do you agree with our assessment of the newest game discussed on FPS Weekly? Can you think of a better counter for that strategy you saw on Tales of Heroes? Tell us about it in the comments!
But what if you have something more to say? Do you have your own ideas you want to let people know about? Do you have a new strategy for Company of Heroes you're dying to tell people about? Got a new FPS game your psyched about? Go ahead and post in our forums! There's a lot of great discussion happening all the time. Why don't you drop in and join us?
Finally, if you've still got something to say, why not start your own Blog right here at gamefire.com? It's really easy for anyone to do. All it takes is a quick glance at the WYSIWYG editor and you're off! If you post good relevant content, we may even mention it on the show!
Now for those of you who are not into writing, you can still go and read all the great content that our users have posted in their blogs (that includes me!).
AutomateYou're Experience! Subscribe to our Podcast Feed!If you've never heard of podcasts, now is as good a time as any to learn about them. That's because now all Gamefire shows will be released in podcast format for your convenience At it's most basic level, Podcasts make listening to periodic content easier by automatically downloading the show for you as soon as it becomes available! The audio podcasts are in mp3 format, compatible with all portable audio players, and the video format is designed to be played on your IPod or IPhone! Check out this FAQ if you still have questions and would like to learn how to subscribe to the Gamefire podcasts!
Are we missing anything? Let Us Know!If you have ideas for features you think may be missing from the Gamefire website, go ahead and post in our forums with your ideas! We're always trying to improve the site and make things better. We can't catch every broken link and bugged section of the site, so please feel free to drop us a line in the forums if you spot anything!
