The playoffs are continuing tonight on Gamefire and I must say, I'm excited about it. Call of Duty 4 is such a good game for this kind of thing. The way the playoffs are going, its one exciting match after another. Team EG is playing Frag D in the lower brackets tonight on the Pro side. Should be an excellent match. The interesting part about the match is to see if Frag D can pull themselves
Effective immediately, the Cyberathlete Professional League (CPL) will cease operations. Therefore, all CPL events currently scheduled for 2008 are hereby canceled.
The CPL was launched in June 1997 with the pioneering mission of promoting and sanctioning video game competitions as a professional sport.
When I first started listenign The Team Sportscast Network, Now known as GameFire, I was just a young chap... well.. I'm still young, but now I'm old enough to actually work for them! GameFire has exploaded into the e-sports scene in the past 3 months with the casting of CEVO-P Call of Duty 4 and Counter-Strike: Source action.
