Tales of Heroes 72: CoH Mechanics Get out your socket wrenches and blow torches, cause this week we're diving under the hood to find out what makes CoH tick. Also featured this week is the news (patch 2.301) and our Unit of the Week segment. This week we're going over the British veterancy units: The Lieutenant, Captain, and the Cromwell Command Tank.
ToH Video Replay Review 71: The Unstoppable Calliope! It's back to good old 1v1s this week in a skill-based show. This armor vs. defensive match shines in the old way with much cutting off, small skirmishes, and the unstoppable calliope. Yes, that caption says 51 kills, you'll have to see it to believe it. Pay attention to the great 20mm rocket barrage that turns the game around halfway through. This is the reason we play CoH.
ToH Video Replay Review 70: The ToH Drinking Game! We've got a special treat this week for those who are of age. We are proud to present the Tales of Heroes Drinking game:
Tales of Heroes 70: Wehrmact for Dummies Wow, this show really should be called "the big news show," but we already had one of those, so this will have to do. Sepharim joins us this week to discuss the News, Wehrmact opening strategies, and the Unit of the Week: Mortar Half Track! So sit back, relax, and grab some popcorn cause this week's show runs an epic two hours.
ToH Video Replay Review 69: King of the 88! This has got to be one of the very most EPIC Tales of Heroes Battles EVAR! If you take a look at the picture to the left you might understand why. That is indeed, a King Tiger moments away from being resurected by a Bergetiger, which is itself moments away from being killed by an M10. How could it get better than this? How about two different instances of an 88 changing hands more than once? What if the Final score was one to zero?!??!? If your not watching this, CoH player you are not. It is also the very last 2.2 replay, good riddance!
ToH Video Replay Review 68: The Time Traveling Crocodile Can the M4 Sherman make it to 88 miles per hour in order to trigger the flux capacitor? One of the great mysteries of the war may be solved in this edition of Tales of Heroes! We've got a great match this week starring none other than myself and rogers! This is one crazy match with the two heaviest tanks ever to grace the virtual battlefield fighting together against a common foe! Tune in to see if they prevail!
Tales of Heroes 68: Americans for Dummies Happy Patch Day everybody! Since Relic Online doesn't seem to be cooperating, why not listen to Tales of Heroes? This week we go over the news, give a little newb advice for aspiring American players, and finally, the Tetrarch is our unit of the week.
ToH Video Replay Review 67: Hedgerow Siege What does it say about a map that we've gone 67 episodes without a single show of it? Well it's time to reverse the trend! I know, i know, i gave away the map quiz in the title, but it couldn't be helped. We've got triple Blitz vs. Double infantry/Airborne on this close quarters map with much base rushing. Check this one out if only to watch the "friendly fire" artillery found later in the game.
ToH Video Replay Review 66: Double Trouble Our audio show, Double the Interview - Round 2, came out earlier this week. Now it's time for Double the Video Replay Review! We've packed in two shorter games each with some great gameplay into one show this week. As promised, i won't reveal the maps, you'll have to guess them yourself at the opening.
Tales of Heroes 66: Double the Interview - Round 2 Better late than never, we've got another great interview this week with some exclusive information on the next CoH patch including answers to the stats wipe and server stability information. Chris and Allie (AKA Mukkel and Buggo) Join us this week for an in depth discussion on the beta patching system and the near future of CoH.
ToH Video Replay Review 65: The Good Old Days Is that a time machine? Angoville? Wehr vs. American? What madness is this! We've got a good old fashioned vCoH style matchup for this week's show for the nostalgic out there in the croud, and boy is it a good one! A crazy Airborne vs. Terror matchup with a twist ending? What are you waiting for! Check it out now! Los Los Los!
ToH Video Replay Review 64: The Rest of the Rest Propaganda War is back baby! With about 100 uses in this game, you have to feel for the allies. But who could blame the poor Germans? Getting shelled by the same mortar pit for most of the game could make anybody upset! You've seen the Best of the Best (Episode 63) now check out the Rest of the Rest!
ToH Video Replay Review 63: The Best of the Best It's been a long time in coming but this here may well be one of the best Tales of Heroes shows we've ever put out! The very best Panzer Elite player from the beta vs. the very best British player in the beta. Want to see scorched earth used correctly? British artillery and Churchill Croc tanks are quite a site to see, but will they be able to top the tricky sector artillery and Hummel? Tune in to find out!
ToH Video Replay Review 62: Pointe of No Return Here it is the 62nd Tales of Heroes! It's a great battle on Pointe Du Hoc. Aniketos and Sweix, both from the RSA clan go toe to toe with Adrian and Marinez in the 3.108 patch from the recent team automatch beta. Lets see if the priests powerful artillery shells can drown out the combined might of the King Tiger and Jagdpanther! Did i mention we've got some cool new slow motion special effects in this show as a test? Let us know what you think!
ToH Video Replay Review 61: Headquarters Shmedquarters! What happens when you lose your HQ? Build another of course! But how easy is that? In a competitive 1v1 you wouldn't be able to pull it off really...or would you?...twice?!?!? Check out the very last Tales of Heroes for 2007, and we'll see you guys next year!
Tales of Heroes 60: Officer to the Rescue! Could it be that the Officer is the most potent anti-emplacement secret weapon of the Wehrmacht? This match between Bonedog and Gudarian takes place on the new Sturzdorf. Has anything changed or is the +16 still the focal point? Tune in to find out!
Tales of Heroes 60: The 2.2 Snafu
Well the promised 2.2 patch has
come and gone and we're still waiting for it. How this works, no one
knows. Also this week we discuss weather it is cheating to "break" the camera
in ranked games. We also had a Bridger Rant on the Walking Stuka and
the power of Trenches, finishing with a "You Might be a N00b" segment.
Introduction for this show was originaly written by Mistenth.
ToH Video Replay Review 59: Blitzkrieg!!! This was certainly a treat of a replay. What starts out as a bit of a stalemate on St. Hillaire turns into a crushing defeat as rangers pour in backed up by commandos. What can stop these masses of heavy infantry? Masses of...tanks? We'll just have to watch and find out how this one ends. It's definitely an ending you won't find in any recent ToH show.
Tales of Heroes 59: Basic Training II: Return of the N00b Many of you may remember the original Basic Training episode we did last november. Well we've decided that it's time for another. This time around we discuss and test directional cover, hotkeys (incl tab, space, and gridkeys vs. arrowkeys) mine placement, kiting with cromwells, and other minor tips and tricks. Lastly we provide the Ultimate Blob Counter at the end of the show that you are not going to want to miss :) This show takes the place of the audio show for this week.
ToH Video Replay Review 58: The Legend of the Crocodile A very crazy game with Rogers joining Bridger and Vitensby as they dole out advice on 'what not to do.'
Tales of Heroes 58: Longest, Show, EVAR This, was a long show. This show was so massive that we didn't even have time to flush out the interview with Somebloke! Who's fault is it? I blame this stricktly on Relic. If they hadn't released patch notes with about 3 gazilion good changes our show wouldn't have been so long! Somebloke and Rogers join us to discuss the proposed changes.
ToH Video Replay Review 57: Map Hacks!
We had a very good match on Wolfheze with a lot of combined arms and artillery to spare! Microza and Tamiya (American's and Brits) take on Dragoon and Sekiselu (Wehrmacht and Panzer Elite) in this artillery heavy game. Keep an eye out for the mass sniper usage by both sides early in the game, leading up to...a map hack? Also keep your eyes peeled for the tiger that rises from the grave to continue the fight! Replay Availible Here!
Tales of Heroes 56-7: Overpowered Panzerschrecks?
We have a special guest this week on ToH. SomeBloke, Senior Shoutcast Moderator at Gamereplays.org, joins us for a discussion of Panzerschrecks, PE Mine detection, AP and SF from garrisoned buildings, and our Strategy of the Week!
ToH Video Replay Review 56: The Hill and the Blob This is certainly the best replay we've had since episode 50. It's a 3v3 on Hill 331 with some random players including myself (Bridger). It's got a lot of good action including some crazy road block construction, dozens of rangers fleeing for their lives, and a bunch of pretty kick ass tank battles. Team games can often be our most entertaining shows, and this is no exception! Armor, Infantry, and Royal Canadian Artillery match up vs. Terror, Scorched Earth, and Tank Hunters. Who will win out?
MEET THE SOLDIER (TEAM FORTRESS 2) TRAILER
Name: Soldier
Role: Offense
Weapons: Rocket Launcher / Shotgun / Shovel
Favorite World War: 2
Special Ability: Rocket Jump
Though he wanted desperately to fight in World War 2, the Soldier was rejected from every branch of the U.S. military. Undaunted, he bought his own ticket to Europe. After arriving and finally locating Poland, the Soldier taught himself how to load and fire a variety of weapons before embarking on a Nazi killing spree for which he was awarded several medals that he designed and made himself. His rampage ended immediately upon hearing about the end of the war in 1949.

A small animation test using the NIS tools in the Company of Heroes World Builder. Captured with FRAPS.
ToH VRR 55: Defensive Veterancy FTW! Surprise gets to test himself against Savvykin this week in a game that is the culmination of the last 3 games played on Angoville.
CoH:OF's 1812 Overture Commando Demolition charges to the 1812 Overture.

ToH Video Replay Review 54: Fallshirmjagers vs. Rangers - FIGHT! A great game on Langres with armored car spam, howizer barages and a marder base rush!
Tales of Heroes 54: The Funktastic Funkwagon! Bridger Rant - News (New Maps!) - Forum Watch (Should PGs cap faster?) - Unit of the Week (Vampire Halftrack)
ToH Video Replay Review 53: WolfHeze We're trying out the new 2v2 map this week in the ToH 53 Community Challange! The map is called Wolfheze and is kind of setup like a 2v2 version of angoville. There are a few +16 munitions and a lot of strat points and very close tight battles.
ToH Video Replay Review 52: Royal Engineers Need Ammo? Aniketos pits his Scout Car Spam strategy against Savykin's emplacement heavy defensive strat. Who will take home the victory points? Will the Incendiary mortar be able to crack through the 17 pounders? Will the hull down firefly's be able to withstand the pounding of the Jagdpanzer?
ToH Video Replay Review 51: Vitensby Strikes Again! Vitensby is playing as the British against Espsy as the Werhmacht. High Points: four nebelwervers of DOOM, the British Commandos tree playing off against the best that terror can offer! It's a pretty classic game on Angoville.
TF2 - Meet the Engineer DIGG IT:
ToH Video Replay Review 50: To Pause, or Not to Pause This is a match between Chalenger Li and Napysik on Angoville. Keep en eye out for one of the only early base rushe's we've seen recently, as well as an amazing bombing run/strafing run combo
ToH Video Replay Review 49: Opposing Fronts FTW! Since there is no replays in Opposing Fronts Beta, we had to improvise and give you another
ToH Video Replay Review 48: Wird Blokes! This episode features some really wonderful bundled grenade usage as well as some crazy M8 on Ostwind Action! SomeBloke takes on some guy with the longest smurf name ever here on everyone's favorite semois, so don't miss it!
ToH Video Replay Review 47: Crazy Truckers! It's been a long time since Hill 331 has been featured on Tales of Heroes, so it's about time for it's triumphant return! Check out this excellent clan match between Reborn and LAID as they continue the static tiger-spam metagame! But it's not all old school tactics. You don't want to miss the crazy guy driving the Croc who's ready to give up his life for the cause! You'll find the video availible after the break.
ToH Video Replay Review 46: Down to the Wire We have what is perhaps one of the closest CoH games ever. This fantastic match on McGecheans War was one of the most exciting we've ever seen. Look to see whether the massive infantry forces of the Wermacht can compete with the Armored American Menace! Watch the double calliope barrages and last minute victory point caps in this spectacular display of skill from 4 amazing players.
ToH Video Replay Review 41: Just Toying With Him If anything could describe this game it would be unexpected. It is a game between Dave (AKA ConstantlyLAID) and PontificulSwissGuard. It was part of the RepLAID pack that went out last week and we wanted to do a game from it before too many people watched them. Suffice it to say it was not what we thought it would be! Dave seems to be just playing with his opponent, seemingly giving himself a handicap by losing 3 squads early in the game, making a comeback with some excellent grenade work, and, well, it’s a twist ending you might say :P
ToH Video Replay Review 40: Viewer Submitted #5 This week we’ve got a long match on rails and metal with massive amounts of artillery and infantry on the allied side facing up against conservative tigers and veteran support units (mortars ftw!). This may be the best since episode 26, you don’t want to miss it :)
ToH Video Replay Review 39: Entertaining Lyon This week’s show features Aniketos and Gogy vs. Savykin and Aftershock on Lyon. Lyon you say? Why play such a terrible map! In fact the game plays very well, as both sides make a decision not to blow the bridges, and so it plays out like a more normal choke point heavy map (with tons of tanks though!). Check out the massive battles between tripple vet panzer IVs, Panthers, Tigers, and up gunned Shermans, M10s, and Pershings. I’m going to put a label on it, i’m calling it EPIC.
ToH Video Replay Review 38: Rematch - Kodachrome vs. Crush3rof4ll This week we've got a rematch between Kodachrome and Crush3rof4ll. They showed us some pretty unique strats so we thought it would be good as a Tales of Heroes first to get them back for a rematch.
ToH Video Replay Review 37: Kodachrome vs. Crush3rof4ll Tired of the same old, same old, Armor vs. Blitz? We’ve got somthing different for you this week! How different you might ask? You’ll have to click to find out! Video is after the break.
ToH Video Replay Review 36: Rogers vs. Xinterp This is a fantastic match between Xinterp and Rogers that your not going to want to miss! Coming downright to the wire here on semois, who will win? Tiger or Pershing? Only time will tell! Video is right after the break.
ToH Video Replay Review 35: GermanSupreme vs. Nuvion
This Week's Video Replay Review is a very impressive game between GermanSupreme and Nuvion on Angoville. Both of them are in the clan Reborn and they certainly show their skills this match. What makes this match interesting is that GermanSupreme is playing allies this time (all other times on ToH he was axis) and that we have a Defensive Doctrine vs. Infantry Company matchup. You don’t want to miss this one!
ToH Video Replay Review 11: Basic Training
A (slightly outdated) basic training video, giving you some insight on how to flank and setup machine guns, micro tanks, use waypoints, and more! Get the download link in the Tales of Heroes section of the website under Season 1.
